Julie Ohmen is deeply seeded in the soybean world. In April 2022, Julie took the helm of SNI Global as its first full-time CEO. In this role, she focuses on advancing the science of soy in human health and nutrition by collaborating with industry stakeholders to further discover and understand the health aspects of soy and soy foods. Guided by a vision of SNI Global serving as a global voice of soy for human health and nutrition, Julie works with farmers, processors, consumer packaged goods companies, and allied soy stakeholders to position soy as the preferred plant protein and oil.

She draws from her 30 years in the soy industry to strategically lead SNI Global. Julie possesses a strong and unique perspective of farm and industry growth coupled with business development skills needed to bring together various stakeholders within the soy industry. Her expertise and vision help SNI Global serve as a powerful voice for soy for human health and nutrition.

She graduated from Illinois Wesleyan University with a Bachelor of Science degree and received her Masters in Business Administration from Illinois State University. She is also a CPA. Julie lives in a western suburb of Chicago, Illinois, with her husband and two daughters.
